BOOZEVERSE PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how Boozeverse (“Boozeverse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Boozeverse mobile application, visit boozeverse.app, contact us, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When a Boozeverse player account is created or accessed, we may receive or generate information such as:
- A unique player or account identifier
- Username or display name
- Profile avatar or uploaded profile image
- Authentication and session identifiers
- Limited profile information made available through Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, or another sign-in service, depending on your settings and permissions
We do not receive or store your Apple, Google, or app-store password.
Gameplay and Account Activity
We collect information needed to operate the game and preserve player progress, including:
- Card collection and inventory
- Saved decks and showcased cards
- Virtual currency and virtual items
- ELO rating, leaderboard position, wins, and games played
- Match participants, room identifiers, and match results
- Dice rolls, attacks, defenses, eliminations, and other gameplay events
- In-game sip counters and related game statistics
- Rewards, crafting activity, and account preferences
References to “sips,” drinks, or drinking within the Services are gameplay mechanics and are not intended to represent medical information, health information, or a record of a player’s real-world alcohol consumption.
Purchase Information
When you make an in-app purchase, Apple or Google processes the payment. We may receive limited transaction information needed to verify and fulfill the purchase, including:
- Transaction or purchase identifier
- Product, card pack, or virtual currency purchased
- Purchase date, status, and platform
- Purchase-verification, fulfillment, and fraud-prevention records
We do not directly collect or store your complete payment-card number or banking information.

Do not send your Apple or Google password, payment information, government identification, or other sensitive credentials through Instagram.
Messages sent through Instagram are also processed by Meta according to Meta’s own privacy policies and practices.
Device, Technical, and Usage Information
The Services and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as:
- Internet Protocol address
- Device type, operating system, and app version

- Unique installation, device, account, or session identifiers

- Crash reports, diagnostic information, performance information, and server logs
- Dates, times, and duration of activity within the Services

- Pages visited
- Referring website
- Browser and device information
- Country or region derived from browser settings or network information
- Language or locale
- Website performance measurements
- A short-lived session identifier
The current analytics system uses a session cookie or similar storage mechanism that generally expires after approximately 30 minutes. It is intended to measure aggregate traffic and website performance rather than create advertising profiles or follow visitors across unrelated websites.
The Boozeverse app may also use local device storage to remember settings, preferences, cached content, and session information.

Business Transfers
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction. Where required, we will provide notice before personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5. Sale of Information and Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not currently use personal information to deliver personalized third-party advertising.
If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation apply, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract, including providing the game, accounts, purchases, and multiplayer features
- Our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, analyzing, and improving the Services
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Your consent, where consent is required
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Account, profile, collection, and gameplay-progression information is generally retained while your Boozeverse account remains active.
You may permanently delete your account from within the Boozeverse app:
- Open Boozeverse.
- Go to Settings.
- Select “Delete Account.”
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated profile information, gameplay progress, decks, card collection, rankings, virtual currency, and virtual items.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
After an account is deleted, certain limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, transaction verification, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Residual copies may temporarily remain in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten through our normal backup process.
Information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for statistical, security, and operational purposes.
Instagram support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to address the issue, maintain support records, protect the Services, or comply with legal obligations. Meta may separately retain information according to its own policies.
If you cannot access the in-app Delete Account option, you may also send a direct message to @boozeverse on Instagram to request assistance or account deletion. Include your Boozeverse display name, platform, and player ID if available. We may request reasonable verification before acting on a deletion request.
Never send us your Apple or Google password or payment information.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information

Include your Boozeverse display name, platform, and player ID if available. We may request additional information to verify that you control the relevant account.
Do not send passwords, payment information, or other sensitive credentials through Instagram.
9. International Data Transfers
Boozeverse and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include encrypted transmission, restricted administrative access, account authentication, access controls, logging, and secure cloud infrastructure.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Age Restrictions and Children’s Privacy
Boozeverse is intended only for individuals who have reached the legal drinking age applicable in their location.
The game does not require or encourage alcohol consumption. Players may substitute non-alcoholic beverages or other non-alcohol-related penalties.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, send a direct message to @boozeverse on Instagram so we can investigate and delete the information where appropriate.
12. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to or interact with services operated by Apple, Google, Meta, or other third parties.
Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and settings. Boozeverse is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.
